Rwanda bill breaches international law: Refugee Convention and Human Rights Convention
Lord Sumption, "The Rwanda bill is contrary to international law, to both the Refugee Convention and the Human Rights Convention, to block people off from access to the courts and not allow them to argue contrary to what parliament has now declared"
Since Brexit in 2016, our nation has been on a continuous decline, the latest iteration is pushing through a bill, that will eventually be passed because of the mechanism of our democracy, but which breaches two international conventions. How are we 'leading the world' when we're breaching established norms and conventions. Shameful.
One could say this is a world-beating breach of international laws, to be enjoyed in the sewage drenched sunlit uplands of Brexit Britain.

ALTHOUGH NOT LEGALLY BINDING, THE CONTENTS OF THE
DECLARATION HAVE BEEN INCORPORATED INTO SUBSEQUENT INTERNATIONAL TREATIES,
HUMAN RIGHTS INSTRUMENTS, NATIONAL CONSTITUTIONS AND LAWS, AND AS A CODE OF
CONDUCT OR A YARDSTICK TO MEASURE THE DEGREE OF RESPECT FOR AND COMPLIANCE WITH
THE INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS OF HUMAN RIGHTS.
FROM THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION CAME THE LEGALLY BINDING
INTERNATIONAL COVENANTS ON CIVIL AND POLITICAL RIGHTS, AND ON ECONOMIC, SOCIAL,

Respect for difference and acceptance of persons with disabilities as part of human diversity and humanity;
Equality of opportunity; Accessibility; Respect for the evolving capacities of children with disabilities and respect for the right of children with disabilities to preserve their identities.
